The Talking Teapot
A teapot. A sentence.
Starting sometimes from an image, sometimes from a phrase. Finding the right pairing between the teapot and the text. Adjusting the creation so that the two respond to each other and form a whole in service of a feeling, an idea, a thought that then lingers in the mind and takes root.
The collage and the words respond to each other… and the teapot has the last word!

Take one. (Re)discover the content and allow the emergence of an idea of what is present. Start with a color, a shape, an unexpected connection.

I love to explore, create, transform, and share. Which reflects as well in my artistic world.
I discovered collage by chance, while I was trying to improve my drawing skills. It was a revelation!
Cut, mix, assemble images, textures, supports and words. Recycle what already exists to give rise to something new.
And for someone who doesn't have a good grasp of drawing, what a freedom! Just curiosity, observation, and the desire to create a dialogue between things that weren't yet speaking to each other.
From this practice, series were born. Each with its own rules, its own way of progressing.
